Safeguarding Forests with Reliable Wireless Connectivity
Kenya’s forests are critical ecosystems, yet highly vulnerable to fires and environmental threats. To protect them, the Kenya Forest Service deployed RADWIN 2000E PtP links across vast, rugged landscapes such as Mt. Kenya, Aberdare, and Mau Forests. Powered by solar energy, the network delivers stable, high-performance connectivity for real-time monitoring and rapid response. This case study shows how advanced wireless technology is strengthening ecological protection and safeguarding Kenya’s natural heritage.
